After all it's our feelings and thoughts which dictate if we go to the gym or not, just as it is our feelings and thoughts which dictate if we drink to much, take drugs, smoke, keep the wrong company, and constantly eat foods that we know are not good for us.

My tip for better health is to become more conscious of the feelings we are feeling, and the thoughts we are thinking, and to really notice how we are being as a result, if the results we get from this are positive, then good, if they aren't all we need to do is change the way we think, and from this we will then move into some intelligent action which will then create the desired result.

How having emotional intelligence will make life feel better.

In order to have emotional intelligence and to be free from life's stressors most of the time, we need to be able to:

1, Motivate oneself and persist in the face of frustrations.

2, To control impulse and delay gratification well the answer is YES it can..... with practice.

If we want to feel less stress throughout our day all we need to do is:

1, First thing in the morning spend a few minutes thinking of something, someone or some place that gives you a feeling of appreciation by doing this it will remarkably set the tone of your day.

2, At the middle of the day thinking of that feeling of appreciation again will boost your energy levels back to how they where in the morning.

3, At the end of the day preferably just before you go to sleep, as this will ensure your mind is clear of any residue of stress and will set you up for a positive day a head.

In order for this to become a natural part of your daily routine if you practice these simple but effective steps as a matter of course for 21 days you will then have formed a positive habit, and a habit is something we do without giving it any conscious thought.

The result will enable you to enjoy a better nights sleep, and have more poise throughout your day.

Stress is good for you?.

It would be nice if everyone made a pact with themselves that every time they hear the above statement to totally ignore it.

Whilst we will never totally eliminate stressful situations from our lives, the notion that it can be good for us is absolute folly and most certainly un-healthy. Studies have shown that stress is responsible for about 90% of the ailments that afflict our bodies that being case how can stress be good for us regardless of whether it's a "good stress" or not.

I read articles, and hear people say how they need stress to be able to function in the work place or to be able to play sports better, these people are sadly ignorant of the true facts.

How to attract the right mate.

I have often had many interesting debates centred on the above question and I verily believe I have found the answer and it's so simple, however everything is simple when we know it....

In order to attract the right mate I think we must first be the right mate, for an example:

If the characteristics of a person we desire are... Loyalty, trustworthiness, emotional resilience and intelligence, kind, and healthy. Then surely we too must also have those characteristics, otherwise how are we going to attract that person into our lives if our characteristics are the opposite?, paradoxically I accept in some cases opposites can attract, however I think the core elements of the individuals should be the same in order for that relationship to be sustainable.

After all how many times have we heard this statement when a couple split up, "We just weren't compatible."

There is depth in the adage...
